Class Description: AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012 connects design and documentation, through the creation of a 3D model, to help boost your productivity.  Whether you’re working on land development, transportation, or environmental projects, Civil 3D is a better design, drafting, and analysis solution for all civil engineers. This advanced level course covers Civil 3D styles and settings, including how to build your company template(s).  Styles for all major object types will be covered.  Students will also learn how to navigate the Settings hierarchy, including Drawing Settings, Feature Settings and Command Settings.

• Understand and create styles and child styles for all Civil 3D objects
• Create label styles and label sets
• Understand and edit Drawing Settings, Feature Settings, and Command Settings
• Understand default settings and labels
• Create and develop your company template(s)
