Class Description: This advanced level course covers an in-depth look at the most powerful tools in AutoCAD Civil 3D. This training course is intended to give students advanced experience with the features and benefits of AutoCAD Civil 3D, and requires basic fundamental knowledge of the software.  Complex, hands on exercises will teach you how to create intricate and detailed 3D models for most any application. 

Class Highlights:

• Create points and description key sets
• Understand surface creation, editing, analysis, importing and exporting
• Create all types of alignments, superelevation, design criteria, and labels
• Create profiles, profile views, best fit profiles, superimposed profiles, surface profiles, split view profiles
• Create and edit parcels, including side line and swing line methods, right-of-ways, frontages, labels and tags
• Create Assemblies and Subassemblies, including offset assemblies, custom subassemblies, and Codes
• Create and edit corridors and intersections, involving multiple baselines, regions and targets
• Use grading tools, including grading objects, feature lines and points for creating ponds and building sites
• Create and edit pipe networks, including rule sets, parts catalogs and Hydroflow tools
• Calculate and analyze quantity takeoffs and earthwork volumes, including report generation
• Create and edit cross sections, including sample lines, code set styles, labeling and section sheets
